REPORTS TO: Managing Director

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Lawn Operative, you’ll deliver our planned lawn care services to customers, providing expert advice, upselling additional treatments, and helping grow our customer base. You’ll be the face of the brand – building relationships, solving lawn issues, and ensuring every garden looks its best.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver a full range of lawn care services including fertilisation, weed control, aeration, scarification, and top dressing.
Maintain contact with customers before and after treatments (treatment reminders)
Identify lawn issues and recommend appropriate treatments
Accurately complete visit records, banking logs, and stock reports
Operate and maintain professional lawn care machinery
Ensure all health & safety standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and servicing of company vehicle and equipment
Support business growth through customer referrals and marketing materials
Carry out lawn analysis and quotations
Provide exceptional customer service and uphold a professional appearance
Liaise with a head office team to offer a seamless customer experience

Full Training will be provided on the job with the opportunity to obtain qualifications.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE:

Proven track record of customer service and communication
Full UK driving licence
Able to operate machinery
