Position: Golf Course Construction Project Manager
Location: Merseyside
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 pa

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company specialising in golf ventures. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated and proactive Golf Course Construction Project Manager to join their team.
About Our Client:
Our client is renowned for delivering high-quality golf and leisure projects. They are committed to creating exceptional golfing environments and are now embarking on an exciting project at Kirkby Valley Golf Course.
About the Role:
As the Golf Course Construction Project Manager, you will lead the practical delivery of the approved golf masterplan works. This includes constructing a new 9-hole par 3 golf course, a new 2-tier driving range, and an 18-hole adventure golf course. You will ensure the project is delivered to design specifications and to a high standard of finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the construction team effectively.
• Communicate clearly with senior team members and follow agreed instructions.
• Oversee the programme of course construction works, managing labour, machines, materials, and budgets.
• Liaise with the company management team, Greenkeeping, and Facility Operations teams.
• Coordinate with Directors, the full design team, and statutory compliance bodies as appropriate.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in leading and managing construction teams.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent work ethic and computer literacy.
• Ability to programme construction works and manage resources effectively.
• Clear understanding of design information.
Desirable:
• Qualifications in greenkeeping.
• Competence with plant machinery.
• Experience in constructing USGA greens, tees, bunkers, drainage, irrigation, driving range outfields, and landscape structures.
