Grounds Maintenance Manager
26-Week Contract
37 Hours per Week
PAYE: £38.00 per hour | Umbrella: £48.94 per hour
Location: Basingstoke, RG24 8PL
Seven Resourcing is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Manager to lead a large operational team delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance services. This role is fully site-based at the Wade Road depot and involves regular site visits across the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a large Grounds Maintenance workforce.
- Ensure high service standards and a customer-focused approach.
- Oversee daily operations, problem-solve, and adapt quickly to new systems.
- Lead on planning, resource allocation, and delivery of grounds maintenance activities.
- Maintain strong communication with staff, stakeholders, and service users.
- Drive improvements and maintain service quality throughout the contract period.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualification in horticulture or a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience managing a large Grounds Maintenance team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and work effectively under pressure.
- Motivated to deliver impactful results in a short timeframe.
- Full driving license.
- Fully on-site availability; hybrid working is not offered.
