Hours: Full-time

Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a committed and proactive Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team.
About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established company providing comprehensive grounds maintenance services across South East England. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional quality and maintaining high standards in all their projects.
About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out various grounds maintenance tasks to ensure that all sites are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained. You will work as part of a flexible team, adhering to agreed work schedules and contract standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform grass cutting operations using strimmers, hand and ride-on mowers.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all sites.
• Operate and maintain plant machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
• Undertake hedge cutting, shrub border maintenance, pruning, and leaf clearance.
• Carry out landscaping and environmental improvement works, including turfing, seeding, and planting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or gardening work.
• Experience with ride-on mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters.
• Health and safety awareness through training and experience.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically fit to perform manual work in all weather conditions.
Desirable -
• Certificates of competence in grounds maintenance tools.
• Chainsaw certification.
• Trailer experience.
