About us:
Skelwith Fold is an award-winning, five-star, family-owned holiday park, located just outside Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District Natural Park. The park is set in 130 acres of ancient woodland, with over 300 privately owned holiday homes, around 100 touring caravan/ motorhome pitches and a selection of self-catered cottages and glamping retreats. The excellent team of 25 people cover varying roles both indoor and outdoor, working together to provide the high standards our guests have enjoyed for many years.
The team:
The outdoor team, guided by the Maintenance Manager, is fundamental to the upkeep of the park, from everyday tasks through to larger projects when the park is closed for Winter. No two days are the same. The natural environment and sustainability form part of the Skelwith ethos, so working alongside resident wildlife and plants, whilst enhancing amenities for guests is very important.
