GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVES
SHORT DESCRIPTION
Chequers Contract Services Ltd is a multi award winning service provider of School, Office and Commercial Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services to many distinguished clients across Greater London and the South of England.
We are seeking out experienced Operatives to join our growing Team and to undertake various grounds maintenance tasks around the London and South East area. Company Van & Mobile Phone Provided
OVERALL PURPOSE
As Chequers Contract Services Ltd is continuing to grow, we are continuously looking to recruit more operatives to work within small mobile teams covering various sites in and around Greater London.
Your duties will include:
- Grass Mowing
- Strimming
- Litter Picking
- Leaf Clearance
- Hedge and Shrub Pruning
The most desirable candidates will have experience in various aspects of the Horticulture Trade, this would include Landscaping, Gardening and other outdoor works.
Candidates will also have a ‘Can-do’ attitude towards tasks and will be able to complete jobs to the best of their ability under tight deadlines.
Preferred candidates will also have excellent communication skills.

RATE OF PAY
£15,000 - £19,000 per annum (depending on experience)

HOURS/WORK
Aprox. 40 hours per week – varies depending on change due to the seasonal nature of Grounds Maintenance.
8hours per day including 1hour unpaid break.
