Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company providing comprehensive grounds maintenance services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated and proactive Grounds Maintenance Manager to join their team.

Our client is a respected leader in the grounds maintenance industry, known for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They provide grass cutting, landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities in the South East corner of Surrey and over the decades have grown to carry out large and small projects across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent serving commercial, public and private sectors. About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the grounds maintenance teams, ensuring high standards of service delivery. You will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating with clients, and ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the grounds maintenance team to deliver exceptional service.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Provide training and support to team members.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven managerial experience within grounds maintenance or a similar horticultural background.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and client liaison abilities.
• Proficient in budget management and resource allocation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
• Formal qualifications in horticulture or a related field.
• Experience with project management software.
• Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices.
