Experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative – Greenford / Up to £32,000 PA depending on experience / Start ASAP

We are looking for a self-motivated team player, who has an excellent eye for detail, can communicate effectively with colleagues and clients alike and be able to demonstrate a drive to deliver outstanding work. Our dedicated teams work throughout London and the South-East. For this role, you would expect to start each day from our Greenford site, so please consider your commute.

The Role in Brief: You will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and appearance of our client spaces. Tasks include landscaping, gardening, and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out daily site duties to a high standard, as instructed by the contracts management team.
· Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, border maintenance, weed control, litter picking and sweeping.
· Complete each task within scheduled timeframe.
· Correct, efficient and safe use of tool, machinery, and materials.
· Correct use of PPE and working aware of risks, control measures and procedures.
· Where certified to apply herbicides, ensure pesticide application records are kept up to date and submitted for filing in timely manner.
· Ensure that site visits are correctly documented and submitted for filing in a timely manner.
· Assist with ‘one-off’ landscaping and clearance works to help with peak workload, or during winter months when landscape maintenance tasks are substantially reduced.
What We're Looking For:
· Minimum 1 years’ experience
· Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment.
· Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
· Ability to work within a team and communicate with colleagues and clients effectively.
· Ability to commute to Greenford is essential.
