Position: Sales Team Executive
Location: Kent
Salary: 38,000 - 41,500 (depending on experience and knowledge)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Saturday AM on a rota basis)
Please note - A full Clean UK Driving Licence is required for you to be considered for this position.

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the horticultural industry, seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Team Executive to join their team.

About the Role:
As a Sales Team Executive, you will be at the forefront of customer interactions, providing accurate quotes, processing online orders, and ensuring smooth transactions from confirmation to completion. Your role will be pivotal in increasing sales value and volume while nurturing customer-centric relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate quotes via email or telephone.
Process online orders using the company's retail system.
Liaise with customers regarding stock shortages or quality issues, offering compatible substitutes where possible.
Source stock for order fulfilment and submit orders for picking.
Keep customers informed and updated on the progress of their orders.
Follow sales order processes and procedures diligently.
Requirements:
Essential:
Proven experience in the horticultural industry or a horticultural qualification.
Demonstrable passion for plants and horticulture.
Excellent customer relationship and networking skills.
Proven ability to work well under pressure.
Working knowledge of Microsoft systems such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Sound numerical skills and attention to detail.
Desirable:
Sales background within horticulture.
Experience with POS systems.
Ability to assist at trade shows and events as required.
