Hours: 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday

They are seeking a dedicated and proactive Team Leader to join their team.

Their aim is to deliver professional grounds maintenance services to large-scale sites, including apartment complexes and commercial premises. They specialise in maintaining communal outdoor areas for both residential and business properties. As an experienced grounds maintenance provider, our client understands that the condition of outdoor spaces plays a significant role in the overall image of a property. They make it their top priority to ensure that all grounds are maintained to the highest possible standard.
About the Role:
As a Team Leader (Grounds Maintenance), you will lead a team on-site, ensuring the meticulous maintenance of communal areas such as playgrounds, open spaces, verges, and bedded areas. You will manage and maintain a company van, housing it at your property, and work independently to uphold the high standards our client is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team to maintain communal areas in new build housing estates.
• Perform hands-on grounds maintenance tasks.
• Manage and house a company van at your property.
• Ensure high standards of site quality and detail.
• Operate battery-powered equipment.
• Travel to various sites with flexibility in working hours.
• Managing and maintaining a portfolio of sites.
• Running and looking after your own van and equipment.
• Leading a team of at least one other operative.
• Training and nurturing operatives in your team.
• Communicating with Property Managers and residents.
• Sending site reports after every visit to Property Manager.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience as a team leader within a relevant industry.
• Self-sufficient and reliable.
• Good character and ability to work independently.
• Ability to house a company van at your property.
Desirable:
• Experience in grounds maintenance for residential new build estates.
• Proficiency with battery-powered tools.
• Flexibility with working hours and travel.
• PA1 & PA6 spraying ticket preferable.
