Full-Time: Minimum 40 hours per week + overtime
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000

The Role
We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Worker who lives in East Kent, to join our team and help maintain a social housing portfolio across the East Kent area. You will play a vital role in keeping outdoor spaces safe, clean, and attractive.
Your Responsibilities:
General Grounds Maintenance
Grass cutting, lawn care (mowing, strimming, and edging)
Weeding and applying herbicides (if certified)
Hedge and shrub trimming, pruning, and shaping
Leaf and debris clearance
Litter picking and waste removal
Soft Landscaping & Plant Care
Planting seasonal flowers, trees, and shrubs
Watering and irrigation to keep greenery thriving
Basic tree maintenance and hazard reporting
Hard Landscaping & Surface Maintenance
Sweeping and power washing communal areas
Minor fence and pathway repairs
Winter gritting and snow clearance
Equipment & Compliance
Operating and maintaining machinery (mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, etc.)
Following health and safety procedures and using PPE
Reporting hazards, damage, or maintenance issues
What We’re Looking For
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Enjoyment of outdoor, physical work in all weather conditions
Previous experience in grounds maintenance (preferred but not essential)
A valid UK driving licence
PA1/PA6 herbicide application certification
