Hartley Lands Fishery
We are looking for a reliable and motivated full-time Fishery Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone who can work independently, take pride in maintaining the fishery to a high standard, and confidently deal with members of the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the fishery
- Collecting ticket money and enforcing fishery rules
- General site maintenance (mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, litter picking, etc.)
- Managing bookings and handling enquiries
- Creating and posting content on social media platforms
Essential Requirements
- Good knowledge of coarse fishing
- Confident using social media
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Willing to work weekends and outdoors in all weather
Hours & Benefits
- £25,389 – £29,741 per annum (depending on age)
- Bonus scheme & free on-site fishing
- Full-time role: 45 hours per week
- Work days Sunday - Thursday (Friday and Saturday off), shifts a mixture of 7am - 4pm or 10am - 7pm.
- A total of 28 days paid holiday
