We are a family run, well-established local grounds maintenance business based in Greater Manchester, providing high-quality grounds care services to commercial, residential, and public sector clients. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our friendly team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of grounds maintenance, working as part of a team to maintain outdoor spaces to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Grass cutting, strimming, and edging
· Hedge cutting and pruning
· Weed control and general grounds upkeep
· Litter picking and site clearance
· Operating and maintaining grounds maintenance machinery
· Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
· Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping (preferred but not essential)
· Full UK driving licence - essential
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
· Good timekeeping, reliability, and a strong work ethic
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
· PA1/PA6 spraying certificates
· Experience using commercial mowers and hand-held machinery
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday (some Saturday’s in peak season March-September)
