About us:
Friendly, well-maintained caravan park looking for a reliable Groundsman to keep the site safe, clean and welcoming for guests.
Key responsibilities:
- General groundskeeping: mowing, strimming, hedging, leaf clearance, litter pick
- Maintain paths, hardstanding and slabbing — repair, lay and point paving as required
- Prepare and site caravans safely and accurately
- Move and position units using towing gear (training available if needed)
- Maintain drainage, gutters, fencing and site furniture
- Basic plumbing/electrical troubleshooting and reporting of larger issues
- Operate and maintain machinery, tools and site vehicles; keep maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and site procedures
- Assist with seasonal preparations and guest support as required
- Hot tub Maintenance
Skills & experience:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred
- Experience with slabbing/paving and siting caravans advantageous
- Comfortable operating mowers, strimmers, small plant and towing equipment
- Good practical DIY skills; basic carpentry/plumbing useful
- Physically fit, reliable, able to work outdoors in all weather
- Good communication and a customer-focused attitude
- Full driving licence (clean preferred)
