About Our Client:
Our client is a renowned venue celebrated for its exceptional sportsturf and greenkeeping standards. Partnering with us, they are committed to delivering world-class events and maintaining their reputation for excellence. A prestigious venue hosting televised tournaments, is seeking dedicated Greenkeepers to join their team for the season. This role offers an excellent chance to gain superb tournament experience with the Legends Tour - Senior PGA Championship and the DP World European Tour - Nexo Championship.
About the Role:
As a Greenkeeper, you will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining the sportsturf to the highest standards for televised events. This seasonal position offers the potential for a permanent role at the end of the season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and prepare sportsturf for high-profile tournaments.
• Operate and maintain greenkeeping equipment.
• Ensure the highest standards of turf health and presentation.
• Collaborate with the team to execute daily maintenance plans.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event-specific requirements.
• Monitor and report on turf conditions and maintenance needs.
Requirements:
Essential
• Proven experience in Sportsturf and/or Greenkeeping.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to start immediately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours during events.
Desirable
• Experience with televised sporting events.
• Relevant qualifications in turf management.
• Familiarity with tournament preparation.
