About the Role:
As a Sports Pitch Tractor Operator / Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep and renovation of sports pitches. This role requires proficiency in operating tractors and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate tractors on sports pitches for various maintenance tasks.
• Perform mowing, verti-draining, and drainage work.
• Oversee seeding and other pitch renovation activities.
• Conduct general sports pitch maintenance duties.
• Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven experience in tractor operation.
• Background in sports pitch maintenance or grounds maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Flexibility to work until tasks are completed.
• Ability to work as self-employed.
Desirable -
• Experience with verti-draining and drainage work.
• Familiarity with over-seeding techniques.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
