Assistant Greenkeeper (Full-Time)Location: Bishopswood Golf Course Salary: £30,500–£37,000 (depending on experience)We’re looking for a reliable, hands- Greenkeeper to join the team at our friendly golf club in Hampshire. You’ll help keep our course looking and playing its best all year round. If you enjoy outdoor work, take pride in high standards, and want to build a career in greenkeeping, we’d love to hear from you. The role: You’ll support the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the course and practice areas, including:
- Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough (seasonal)
- Bunker maintenance, divoting, raking, and general course presentation
- Assisting with turf care: aeration, top dressing, overseeding and fertilising
- Course set-up (moving holes, markers, signage)
- Operating and maintaining machinery (training provided where needed)
- Working safely and following club procedures at all times
- Course management

Experience: Previous greenkeeping or grounds experience is essential.
- Full UK driving licence
- PA1/PA2 spraying certificates
- Chainsaw tickets
- Golf course management qualification
- Full understanding of legal requirements for golf course

Hours
- Full-time role with early starts (standard in greenkeeping)
- Weekend rota may apply during peak season (details discussed at interview)
Pay: £30,500.00-£37,000.00 per year
