Consciously Grown is a professional garden maintenance company specialising in the care of large private gardens and estates across Kent and East Sussex.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking gardener with grounds maintenance experience, excellent customer service skills and confidence using garden machinery to join our team maintaining high-quality private gardens.
This role would suit someone with experience in grounds maintenance, estate gardening or landscaping who takes pride in producing neat, high standards of work.
The Role
You will be working as part of a two-person horticultural team maintaining a large private garden once a week on a Wednesday.
Typical tasks include:
- Strimming and brush cutting
- Border edging
- Hedge trimming
- General garden tidying and upkeep
- Seasonal garden maintenance
- Weeding & tidying
Most of our gardens are large private properties, so attention to detail and pride in your work are important.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Experience using professional garden machinery (mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters)
- A strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Good physical fitness (this is an active outdoor job)
- Personable & Professional
- A full UK driving licence
- A reliable and professional attitude
Experience in grounds maintenance or estate gardening would be highly valued.
Hours
Typically 8am – 4pm working on Wednesday every week.
Pay
Lead gardeners: £120 - £130 per day
Assistant gardeners: £100 per day
Pay dependent on experience.
