Grounds Maintenance Team Leader / Operative

You’ll be part of a professional two-person team delivering grounds maintenance across schools, housing developments, and commercial sites.
Team Leaders will:
- Run the daily schedule
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Lead and support their operative
- Keep the van and equipment organised
Operatives will:
- Support the Team Leader on site
- Take pride in completing work properly
- Learn and develop within the role
What the Work Involves
- Grass cutting (pedestrian and ride-on mowers)
- Strimming, edging, and general maintenance such as hedge cutting, pruning, weed control, leaf clearance
- Keeping sites clean, tidy, and presentable
This is hands-on, outdoor work in all conditions. It suits people who prefer being active and getting stuck in.

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential for Team Leaders, preferred for Operatives)
- Grounds maintenance or similar experience (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable and physically fit
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round
Working Hours
- March to October: Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day
- November to February: Monday to Thursday, 8 hours per day
