Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious golf club, seeking dedicated and reliable Seasonal Greenkeepers to join their team for the summer season.
About Our Client:
Our client is one of Surrey's most admired 18-hole golf courses, boasting a rich heritage since 1895. Nestled in the picturesque countryside with stunning views towards London, the club offers a welcoming atmosphere and a commitment to excellence in course maintenance and member satisfaction.
About the Role:
As a Seasonal Greenkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of the golf course. Your responsibilities will include a variety of groundskeeping tasks to ensure the course remains in top condition throughout the busy summer months. This role offers the potential for a full-time position for candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mowing and maintaining fairways, greens, and roughs
• Assisting with irrigation system maintenance and repairs
• Performing bunker maintenance and sand replacement
• Operating various groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently
• Supporting the team with general landscaping tasks
• Ensuring the course is kept clean and presentable at all times
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven experience in groundskeeping or a related field
• Basic knowledge of golf course maintenance practices
• Ability to operate groundskeeping machinery
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Good communication skills
Desirable -
• Formal qualification in turf management or horticulture
• Previous experience working on a golf course
• Familiarity with irrigation systems
