Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a committed and proactive Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team.

About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's operations by ensuring that daily contracts are executed to perfection. You will be responsible for maintaining various sites, ensuring smooth operations, and collaborating effectively with your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mowing sites at schools, sports fields, and other designated areas.
• Communicating unforeseen issues directly to the Team Leader.
• Proactively ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration.
• Following daily work orders meticulously.
• Ensuring vehicles are checked, and the Vehicle Log is completed.
• Safely loading, unloading, and maintaining cleanliness of vehicles.
• Identifying tools required for the day's work order before leaving the yard.
• Demonstrating flexibility with regards to working hours.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed work orders.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Desirable:
• Experience working in school or sports field environments.
• Familiarity with various grounds maintenance tools and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
