About Our Client:
Our client is a reputable grounds maintenance contractor known for delivering high-quality services across multiple sites. They are committed to maintaining beautiful and safe outdoor environments and are looking for skilled operatives to support their growing team.
About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining highways and public parks. Your day will start at 07:30 and end at 16:00, where you will be responsible for ensuring these areas are safe, clean, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Lantra Mowers and Strimmers to maintain grass and vegetation.
• Perform general grounds maintenance tasks in public parks and highways.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor.
• Drive to various locations as required.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Lantra Mower, Strimmer certification or CSCS card.
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
Desirable -
• Previous experience in highways maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail.
