Our client, a leading provider in the Local Authority and Registered Social Landlord sectors, is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of contracts across London and the South East.

About the Role:
As an Operations Manager, you will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of contracts, ensuring high standards of service delivery, operational and financial performance, and compliance with contractual obligations. You will build strong client relationships, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the safety and well-being of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support staff to ensure tasks are completed to agreed standards and deadlines.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with specifications, KPIs, and service level agreements.
• Develop and implement annual plans to meet contractual requirements and business targets.
• Act as the first point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and the public.
• Implement and manage robust health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Monitor and control budgets to deliver cost-effective services.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in the Local Authority & RSL sectors.
• Strong people management and industry-specific skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and scheduling/reporting software tools.
Desirable:
• Management qualifications/certifications relevant to the industry(IOSH or NEBOSH desirable).
• IOSH qualification.
• NEBOSH qualification.
• Experience in commercial cleaning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
