The OpportunityHead Gardener & Estate Landscape Manager (Historic Estate & Visitor Attraction)We are seeking an exceptional operations-minded horticulturalist to take on the dual mantle of Head Gardener and Estate Landscape Manager.In this role, you will report directly to the Operations Director and be fully responsible for the presentation, strategic development, and operational reality of our visitor destination. You will have the autonomy to influence future planting, drive machinery investment, and shape the estate culture.Key ResponsibilitiesEstate & Horticultural Leadership; Oversee the long-term seasonal planning, presentation, and maintenance of all gardens, woodlands, and the wider heritage landscape to impeccable standards.Team Management; Direct, mentor, and develop the estate gardening and maintenance team, fostering a culture of pride, discretion, and excellence.The Visitor Experience; Maintain an elite, RHS-quality aesthetic while balancing the high-footfall realities of a major public visitor attraction.Operational & Financial Control; Manage infrastructure, machinery investments, health & safety competence, contractors, and annual budgets.Candidate ProfileWho You AreThis role requires a unique blend of elite horticultural artistry and robust commercial acumen.
