About the Role:
As a Park Ranger, you will play a crucial role in the safety and upkeep of local parks. You will be responsible for various tasks ranging from waste management to site security, while interacting with the public in a friendly and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure site safety by locking them up.
• Empty bins at selected locations and maintain cleanliness.
• Quickly identify and report hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide various types of feedback to improve park services.
• Operate service vehicles efficiently in pedestrian and confined areas.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Ability to lift and move heavy items using appropriate techniques.
• Interact with the public in a friendly and appropriate manner.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and locations of first aid kits.
• Effectively communicate any issues or emergencies.
• Ability to confidently drive and operate manual service vehicles.
Desirable -
• Experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of local park management regulations.
• First aid training.
