About the Role:
As an Assistant Fencing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing fencing installations across the UK. This role involves significant travel and the flexibility to work away from home, including weekends during peak times. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver fencing installations in the sports and leisure industry across the country.
• Place orders for fencing materials and ensure timely deliveries.
• Travel to project sites to survey works and organise labour.
• Meet clients to plan works and complete method statements and risk assessments.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure materials and installations meet specifications.
• Monitor costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven experience in the fencing industry with a solid understanding of fencing systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Full driver's licence with willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable -
• Experience in managing sub-contractors.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Ability to prepare detailed project documentation.
