About
I have several years experience working the on the grounds of prestigious school set in historic estate situation in a national park. I was responsible for the upkeep of diverse landscapes, including maintaining flower beds, green spaces, lawns, woodland, sports pitches and the Headmaster's personal garden. The role demanded a high standard of presentation. The site included eight rugby pitches, a 9-hole golf course, multiple cricket tables, private gardens of onsite teachers, public footpaths, 100 acres of woodland, extensive green areas and flower beds. I am fully proficient in the safe and effective use of all hand tools, power tools, garden machinery (such as mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and leaf blowers), and vehicles commonly used in large-scale grounds maintenance.
In addition to my full-time role at the College, I have worked part time on a private basis, providing gardening services for residential properties. This has grown my flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently whilst meeting individual client expectations.
I take great pride in creating and maintaining beautiful, well-presented outdoor spaces, and I am eager to bring my skills and strong work ethic to new clients and locations.
I have achieved certification for Pa1/Pa6 spraying licenses. I have a full, clean driver’s license and have a good knowledge of health and safety legislation and practice.
