We are currently recruiting a hard-working, multi-skilled Tree surgeon & Grounds Maintenance Technician to be based at our head office in Shenstone. This role is available for an immediate start.
It is a varied position, requiring flexibility, as the successful candidate will work across a range of contracts throughout the country.
Strong communication skills are essential, especially when interacting with clients and members of the public.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tree Surgeon & Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves carrying out a variety of general grounds maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Grass cutting
- Tree pruning
- Hedge trimming
- Leaf collection
Experience in fencing is highly advantageous and will be a key benefit to your application. The role involves working on petrol station forecourts, so prior experience in this area is desirable, particularly if you hold an SPA qualification.
You will be working away from Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday departing from our head office on Sunday / Monday morning and returning Thursday / Friday afternoon. Accommodation will be provided in hotels across the country, with breakfast included.
What We Offer
- Accommodation: Hotels provided for overnight stays Sunday to Thursday.
- Expenses: £20 per night for evening meals and other expenses.
- Tools & Equipment: You will be provided with a company phone, iPad, and your own set of tools.
- Vehicle: A company vehicle will be assigned to you for the week but will be kept at the head office over the weekend.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in tree surgery & grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, tree pruning, and hedge trimming.
- Fencing experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience working on petrol station forecourts is desirable.
- Holding an SPA (Safety Pass Alliance) qualification is highly advantageous.
- Ability to stay away from home during the week.
- Full UK driving license.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Immediate availability is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,500.00-£38,000.00 per year
