Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Redbridge, London Pay: £13 - £15 per hour (depending on experience)Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pmStart Date: Immediate The Role: We're looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a dedicated team maintaining parks, open spaces, schools, and residential estates across London and the South East. You'll be carrying out a range of horticultural and grounds maintenance operative tasks, ensuring sites are safe, tidy, and looking their best all year round. Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming and shrub maintenance.Litter picking, leaf clearance and general grounds upkeep.Planting, weeding, and seasonal bed work.Line marking for sports pitches (where required).Operation of powered hand tools and light machinery.Ensuring health and safety standards are followed on site. The Candidate: Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.Good understanding of safe working practices and use of machinery.Full UK Driving Licence (B category minimum - essential).Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or in a small team.PA1/PA6 or other horticultural qualifications - desirable but not essential.
