Salary: £36,000 - £60,000 Depending on skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the sports surfaces industry, seeking dedicated and proactive Junior Site Engineers to join their team in the Middle East.
About Our Client:
Our client specialises in the design, construction, and installation of high-performance sports surfaces, both natural and artificial. With a strong presence in the Middle East, they deliver top-tier sports pitch solutions to some of the most prestigious names in football, rugby, hockey, and cricket.
About the Role:
As a Junior Site Engineer, you will support the planning, supervision, and quality control of sports pitch construction projects in Dubai and Riyadh. Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you will ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency on every site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day supervision of on-site activities, including groundworks, base preparation, turf installation, and drainage.
- Support site layout, setting out levels, and recording site measurements.
- Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
- Assist in quality control procedures to ensure work meets technical specifications and company standards.
- Liaise with Project Engineers, Supervisors, and Subcontractors for effective coordination.
- Support site documentation, including daily reports, material tracking, and progress updates.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in construction or engineering (internship or site-based experience preferred).
- Basic understanding of surveying, setting out, and construction processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work across multiple project sites in the UAE and KSA.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in sports pitch construction.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with project management software.
