Position: Turf Farm Manager
Location: Dikili, Çandarl, Izmir City, Turkey
Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 per annum + free accommodation suitable for families
Hours: Full-time, on-site

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a dynamic company dedicated to providing top-tier turf solutions. Due to significant growth, they are seeking a dedicated and proactive Turf Farm Manager to join their team.
About Our Client:
Our client specialises in the design, construction, and installation of high-performance sports surfaces, both natural and artificial. With a strong presence in the Middle East, they deliver top-tier sports pitch solutions to some of the most prestigious names in football, rugby, hockey, and cricket.
About the Role:
As the Turf Farm Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a 40ha turf production facility. You will manage the maintenance team, ensure the quality of turf production, and drive the continuous improvement of farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire turf production process, including soil preparation, seeding timing, and irrigation planning.
• Lead and organise a team including two foremen, a commercial chief, and an operations responsible.
• Ensure the sustainability and quality of turf production.
• Manage both cool-season and warm-season turf varieties.
• Coordinate with the project director and other key team members to align farm operations with company goals.
• Address and mitigate any climate-related challenges affecting turf quality.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Extensive experience in turf production farms.
• Expertise in turf maintenance, field preparation, and harvesting operations.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and organise maintenance teams.
• Proven ability to be permanently based at the facility.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of both cool-season and warm-season turf varieties.
Desirable:
• Degree in Agricultural Engineering or Landscape Architecture.
• Proficiency in Turkish.
• Experience in diverse climates such as the Middle East and the UK.
