Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking commercial landscaping specialist, to find two dedicated Gardeners for the prestigious Green Park estate in Reading.
About Our Client:
Our client is a leading commercial landscaping company known for combining horticultural excellence with sustainability and smart green-space design. They manage the 195-acre Green Park business campus, a high-profile location that is home to over 9,000 professionals.
About the Role:
As a Gardener at Green Park, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the estate's outdoor green spaces to the highest standards. This role offers the chance to work in a premium environment and contribute to the beauty and sustainability of a landmark site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mowing and maintaining grassed areas to specification
• Planting, grooming, and maintaining flower beds, shrubs, hedges, and trees
• Keeping all pathways, borders, and green zones neat and tidy
• Working as part of a small team to uphold the quality and presentation of the estate
• Operating basic horticultural machinery and tools; following health & safety and site-specific standards
Requirements:
Essential:
• Full driving licence and confidence in driving between site zones
• Proven experience in grounds or garden maintenance (grass, shrubs, hedging, trees)
• Reliable Monday to Friday availability
• Comfort working outdoors across seasons and using horticultural machinery safely
• Team-player who values consistency, quality, and respect for the surroundings
Desirable:
• Experience working in a commercial or high-profile environment
• Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices
• Familiarity with biodiversity initiatives
