Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Team Leader (Experienced) – Commutable from Bristol

Location: Wraxall, easily commutable from Bristol, North Somerset

Salary: £27,087
Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, full time, permanent

About the Role

We’re hiring an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team based in Wraxall, 15-20 minutes away from Bristol.

This is a practical role leading a small team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance on commercial and residential sites.

The position suits someone who is:

Skilled in all aspects of grounds maintenance
Confident leading and organising a team
Reliable, determined and takes pride in their work
Comfortable working outdoors year-round

Key Responsibilities – Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

Lead a grounds maintenance team of two or three operatives
Motivated to maintain sites to a high standard
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Operate grounds maintenance equipment (mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters)
Carry out mowing, hedge cutting, strimming, pruning and planting
Plan daily schedules and ensure efficient site time

Required Experience & Skills

To be considered, you must have:

1+ years professional grounds maintenance experience (essential)
Team leader or supervisory experience
Strong skills with grounds maintenance equipment
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work outdoors in all weather
