About the Role:
As a Tree Surgeon, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tree surgery operations to British standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. Your main duties will include arboriculture operations such as reductions, felling, dead wooding, and stump grinding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform arboriculture operations including reductions, felling, and dead wooding.
- Conduct stump grinding operations.
- Adhere to health and safety best practices.
- Maintain and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience in tree surgery or arboriculture.
- Relevant NPTC qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic.
Desirable:
- Thames Water Passports.
- Experience working with local authorities or commercial clients.
- Additional arboriculture certifications.
