Julian Turner Garden Services is a professional garden maintenance company with a strong focus on plant health, horticultural knowledge, and high-quality garden care. We work closely with our clients to create and maintain beautiful, well-managed gardens.
We are currently looking for an experienced gardener / head gardener to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who genuinely loves plants, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in their work.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of gardens to a high standard, with a strong emphasis on plant care and presentation. The role includes both hands-on gardening and managing work on site.
Key duties include:
- Managing gardens and supervising team members when required
- Planting and general horticultural maintenance
- Hedge cutting and pruning
- Weeding and bed maintenance
- Lawn care and grass cutting
- Identifying plant stress, pests, and diseases
What We’re Looking For
You should be an experienced gardener with good all-round horticultural knowledge.
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong plant knowledge
- Experience with propagation, fruit and vegetable growing
- Ability to identify plant distress and health issues
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
