Position
We are looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of a portfolio of landscape maintenance and improvement contracts across the South West.
This is a hands-on, operational role with responsibility for site teams, client relationships, and contract performance. You will ensure work is delivered safely, to specification, on time and within budget.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and supporting site-based teams across allocated contracts
- Acting as the main operational point of contact for clients
- Planning, booking and recording works using company systems
- Monitoring contract performance and carrying out site audits
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
- Liaising with subcontractors and managing variations or additional works
- Supporting specialist or non-routine landscape works where required
- Deputising for the Operations Manager when needed
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- Experience managing landscape or grounds maintenance works
- Experience supervising or supporting site-based teams
- PA1 and PA6 (or equivalent)
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- SSSTS or equivalent site supervision qualification
- Grounds maintenance or horticultural qualifications
- Experience with specialist landscape or arboricultural works
- Relevant experience will be considered where formal qualifications are not held
