Position: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Croydon & Surrounding areas
Salary: 13.50 - 14.00 per hour
Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client for a mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative role across Sussex.
About Our Client:

About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep of police and ambulance stations across Sussex. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, travelling between sites in a company-provided van. Your day will start and finish from home, providing a structured and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Mowing with pedestrian and stand-on "zero-turn " mowers
Hedge cutting, strimming, and general grounds maintenance
Driving between locations no depot, start and finish from home
Using hand tools and powered equipment to maintain high standards
Ensuring all sites are maintained to the highest standards
Requirements:
Essential:
Proven minimum 2 years experience in grounds maintenance
Full UK driving licence
Ability to pass a police vetting check
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload
Desirable:
PA1 & PA6 certification
Experience working on high-profile sites
