Job Overview

Duties
- Planting, pruning, weeding, and watering garden beds to ensure healthy growth
- Operating hand tools such as spades, shears, and rakes for routine garden maintenance
- Using power tools for tasks like hedge trimming and soil aeration
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to optimise water efficiency
- Applying fertilisers, pesticides, or other treatments as necessary to promote plant health
- Assisting with landscape design projects and seasonal planting schemes
- Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases early
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and ensuring safe handling of equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
- Knowledge of plant care, soil types, and sustainable gardening practices
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- A genuine interest in gardening and landscape aesthetics
- Valid (if applicable) or relevant gardening certification is a plus
