Rileys are looking to hire a grounds maintenance skilled driver to join the team. (a number two to the Forman role)
Areas of work are mainly Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and north London with our yard at South Mimms, Hertfordshire.
Main duties:
- Grass cutting with push and ride on mowers.
- Driving a van to and between jobs
- Hedge cutting
- Strimming
- Blowing
- Weeding
- Winter Gritting
- Litter picking
- General grounds maintenance operations.
Nature of the work will be schools, hospitals, care homes, large scale sites.
A minimum of 1 years experience within grounds maintenance using tools preferred but training can be given to someone who has other relevant experience of using tools and working outside ect.
A full driving licence is essential and you must be able to pass an enhanced DBS, have a current enhanced dbs is a huge advantage.
PA1 & 6 is desirable.
Monday - Friday with options of overtime.
Hours are -
7.30-16.30
Paid monthly
28days holiday per year.
Depending on distance to our yard we may be able to provide a van to get to and from the yard.
Uniform provided.
