Salary: £60,000+ (Negotiable)

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated and proactive Placemaking Contracts Manager to join their team.

About the Role:
As a Placemaking Contracts Manager, you will lead the end-to-end management of complex projects, combining hard landscaping, civil engineering works, and placemaking expertise. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also technically robust.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple placemaking, hard landscaping, and civil engineering projects simultaneously.
• Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate directly with clients, designers, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and deliver exceptional placemaking solutions.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and schedules, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards.
• Lead progress meetings, provide accurate reporting, and proactively address any challenges.
• Control project budgets through effective cost management and resource planning.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in landscaping, civil engineering, or construction project management with values of £500k+.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and integration of placemaking principles with civil engineering solutions.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams efficiently.
• Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, contracts, and variations.
• High level of problem-solving ability, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
• Experience with high-profile or landmark projects.
• Professional certifications in project management.
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices.
