Our client supports customers across grassroots sport, education, commerce, and professional sports clubs, with a growth journey that has rapidly expanded their global presence.They work with sports venues of all sizes, operating from offices in the UK, Ireland, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Dubai.
About the Role:
As an International Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's global expansion efforts. You will introduce innovative solutions to a diverse range of clients, build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth. Your role will involve extensive international travel, allowing you to build lasting relationships and successfully launch new products in various markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the international sales budget and ensure accurate forecasting and financial management.
• Drive revenue, margin, and market growth by expanding our client's presence.
• Develop and execute international sales strategies for long-term business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with national associations, elite clubs, contractors, and global partners.
• Conduct regular customer visits and networking activities to uncover new business opportunities.
• Represent the company at international events and trade shows, promoting the brand and generating leads.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience as an International Sales Manager or in a similar role.
• Proven experience as an Account Manager, maintaining close relationships with regional sales managers and field sales agents.
• Experience in agronomy, specifically natural grass sports fields.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Willing and able to travel extensively, up to approximately 60–75% of the time.
• Hybrid working is possible, but at least two days per month in the office in the Netherlands.
Desirable:
• Network within professional football organisations.
• Speaks German, French, and/or Spanish.
