Here at Stafford Moor we have some of the best fishing in Devon spread across our 67-acre site, situated in mid Devon. We have 7 fishing lakes, 5 pleasure and match lakes along with our 2 specimen carp lakes. There is also a small caravan park and several lodges onsite.
Job summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and dedicated team member to join us here at Stafford Moor. No two days are the same in this job role; adaptability is key, along with being a team player, willing to turn your hand to anything where needed. A genuine passion for fish welfare and fishing is necessary for any candidate. Maintenance around the site, is a large part of this role so confidence using power tools and gardening equipment would be a bonus. Due to our remote location having your own transport and a reasonable commute to work is also necessary. Duties:
· General grounds maintenance, this includes mowing the lawns, strimming, leaf blowing, hedge trimming, keeping the site to our highest possible standards.
· Lodge Change overs, this includes cleaning the hot tubs, collecting the bins.
· Match weigh ins, between March and October we hold 2 open matches every week, there are also other matches and festivals this is needed for.
· General site maintenance, on a site our size there often repairs that need doing and where possible we do this ourselves, this can be the fishing pegs, fences, in the lodges etc. General grounds maintenance, this includes mowing the lawns, strimming, leaf blowing, hedge trimming, keeping the site to our highest possible standards.

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
