Hours – 39 per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Newquay, Cornwall
Do you have recent experience working for a commercial grounds maintenance company, or similar? Do you have the skills, energy and the enthusiasm to join a thriving team? Do you take pride in providing a quality and professional service? Then we are looking for you!
What you will have:
The right candidate will be hardworking, reliable and ideally have previous experience (essential for the Team Leader role). A proactive approach, a willingness to learn, confidence to work on your own initiative as well as alongside other members of the team.
General duties:
1. To carry out grounds maintenance at each of the sites where we have regular contracts, together with other sites where you may be instructed to work, including:
- grass mowing (using both ride-on and push mowers);
- strimming;
- hedge cutting;
- pruning & weeding;
- leaf clearance;
- provision of soil, seed and mulch;
- litter-picking;
- herbicide use;
- drain clearance, snow and ice clearance and all other relevant tasks;
2. To assist in erecting and repairing fences;
3. To drive the company’s vehicles in connection with your employment duties - Full driving license is essential
