Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a nationally recognised, purpose-led organisation dedicated to improving professional standards across the UK amenity sector. They are seeking a dynamic Amenity Sector Commercial Lead to join their team and make a significant impact.
About Our Client:
Our client is a charitable organisation that supports the development of professional standards in the amenity sector through registers, auditing services, and CPD programmes. They balance commercial discipline with sector stewardship, aiming to improve competence, compliance, and safe practice across a diverse and evolving industry.
About the Role:
As the Amenity Sector Commercial Lead, you will take full ownership of commercial performance within the amenity sector. You will drive revenue growth, embed structured key account management, and coach colleagues to enhance commercial capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the amenity sector aligned to organisational objectives.
• Drive revenue growth from professional registers, CPD programmes, and chemical store auditing services.
• Set and manage pricing frameworks, margin expectations, and income targets.
• Build, manage, and forecast a structured commercial pipeline.
• Lead strategic key account management, developing formal account plans for major partners.
• Convert engagement into long-term commercial partnerships with contractors, distributors, golf clubs, and sector bodies.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Extensive experience within the amenity or land-based sector.
• Strong commercial and key account leadership background.
• Proven track record of selling services and delivering revenue growth.
• Credibility and network across the amenity landscape.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading commercial teams.
• Financially literate with experience managing margins and targets.
Desirable:
• Experience in a charitable or purpose-led organisation.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management.
• Experience representing organisations at senior-level industry events.
