West London Gardens is a well-established and professional grounds maintenance company working across residential estates and managed developments throughout West London.
As we move into the busy spring season, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our growing team.
We are particularly interested in someone who cares about gardening, takes pride in horticultural standards, and enjoys working with plants and landscapes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop within the company, with potential progression to a Team Leader position.
The Role
- General grounds maintenance across residential developments
- Lawn mowing, edging and strimming
- Hedge cutting and shrub pruning
- Weeding and bed maintenance
- Seasonal planting and garden improvements
- Maintaining high horticultural standards across sites
- Working as part of a small team (typically 2–3 operatives)
- Driving company vans between sites
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous grounds maintenance or gardening experience
- Good horticultural awareness and plant knowledge
- Experience with hedge cutting, pruning and lawn care
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good communication and positive attitude
Formal horticultural qualifications are desirable but not essential. A genuine interest in gardening and plant care is more important.
