About the Role:
As an Operative, you will be involved in various hands-on tasks, from operating machinery to manual labour such as laying turf. You will work away from home, including occasional weekends and long hours during the summer, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate machinery such as excavators, dumpers, and tractors.
• Perform manual tasks including shovelling and turf laying.
• Work away from home with occasional weekend shifts.
• Ensure project deadlines are met with high-quality results.
• Collaborate with team members for efficient project execution.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
Requirements:
Essential -
• Proven experience in landscaping, groundwork, or sports/golf construction.
• Comfortable working away from home and during long summer hours.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to perform manual labour tasks.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
Desirable -
• Experience operating excavators, dumpers, and tractors.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
