Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and contribute to the creation and maintenance of beautiful outdoor spaces. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various landscaping projects. The successful candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn new skills. Prior experience is not essential, but a positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions are vital.
Duties
- Assisting with planting, watering, and maintaining plants, shrubs, and trees
- Preparing soil, laying turf, and spreading mulch or gravel as required
- Operating basic landscaping tools and machinery under supervision
- Clearing debris, leaves, and rubbish from work sites to ensure safety and tidiness
- Digging trenches or holes for planting or irrigation purposes
- Assisting with the installation of features such as fences, patios, or garden structures
- Supporting team members in completing projects efficiently and safely
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring tools are stored correctly after use
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping or gardening is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to outdoor work environments
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately
