Grounds Maintenance Operative (Experienced)
Sanderson Groundcare Ltd is looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our professional team. This role involves maintaining landscaped areas to a high standard across commercial and managed sites.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in grounds maintenance, who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of presentation, consistency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Strimming and edging
- Hedge cutting and pruning
- Shrub and planted bed maintenance
- Weed control and general site tidiness
- Leaf clearance and seasonal grounds work
- Daily checks and safe operation of machinery
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Maintaining high standards across all sites
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Experience maintaining landscaped areas
- Competent using professional grounds maintenance machinery
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Good attention to detail
Desirable (but not essential)
- PA1 / PA6 certificates
- First Aid qualification
