Lawntech is looking for an experienced Senior Lawn Care Technician to join our team covering Southampton/Winchester.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in greenkeeping, sports turf or professional lawn treatment who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in high standards and is confident dealing with customers face to face. What we're looking for:
To be considered for this role, Applicants must have genuine turf-care or lawn treatment experience. you must have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
- Greenkeeping
- Sports turf maintenance
- Lawn treatment / lawn care
- Turf management
You will also need:
- PA1 and PA6 certification
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong face-to-face customer service skills
- Good communication and organisation
- A reliable, professional approach to work
The role:
You will manage a dedicated route, visiting customers to carry out scheduled lawn treatments and seasonal turf-care work. As well as delivering high-quality treatment work, you will speak directly with customers, assess lawn condition, provide recommendations and identify additional service opportunities where appropriate.
This position suits someone who can combine technical turf knowledge with a professional and personable approach on site.
Key responsibilities:
- Applying fertiliser, herbicide and moss control treatments in line with schedule
- Carrying out scarification, aeration and overseeding as part of seasonal lawn renovation work
- Completing lawn analysis and identifying treatment requirements
- Advising customers on lawn condition, treatment plans and aftercare
- Providing quotations and identifying additional service opportunities
- Updating the company software database and completing related administration
- Delivering a professional customer experience on every visit
