Salary: £13.50–£14.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–4:00pm

They are seeking a meticulous and proactive Sportsturf Maintenance Operative / Grounds Maintenance Operative with a strong focus on line marking to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:
As a Sportsturf Maintenance Operative / Grounds Maintenance Operative, your primary responsibility will be marking out sports pitches, running tracks, and other site markings using a variety of equipment. When line marking isn't required, you'll support the wider maintenance teams with general grounds maintenance duties.
Training for line marking can be provided and is not essential however, relevant industry experience is required as a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Marking out sports pitches, running tracks, and other client requirements.
• Operating robot, ride-on, and pedestrian line marking equipment safely and accurately.
• Preparing materials and maintaining clean, consistent lines to agreed standards.
• Supporting grounds maintenance teams with pedestrian mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and general grounds maintenance duties.
• Conducting basic checks and maintenance of equipment, and keeping the van/work area tidy and organised.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites.
• Good attention to detail for accurate and consistent line marking.
• A practical, hands-on attitude, willing to assist with general grounds maintenance tasks.
Desirable:
• Ideally a clean driving licence.
